Melcor and Landmark Cinemas Canada hosted a shovel ceremony for the premium movie theatre being constructed in our Jensen Lakes Crossing development on Thursday, June 15 2017. CEOs of both companies invited business partners, contractors, city officials and home builders to enjoy a sneak peek into the plans for the theatre.

The cinema, a first for St. Albert, will be an 8 auditorium, all-recliner theatre that will remove all of the pressure points of going to the movies, like ticket and concession line-ups, says Neil Campbell, CEO of Landmark Cinemas.

Coun. Sheena Hughes said she was excited for the new theatre to open its doors. “We don’t have a theatre and it’s been a demand for people to have one,” she said.

For Melcor, Landmark Cinemas will be an anchor of the development and one of the main amenities for residents of our Jensen Lakes community. The Canadian Brewhouse was also announced as Jensen Lakes Crossing’s newest tenant.

Recently named St. Albert’s Best New Residential Development by T8N Magazine, Jensen Lakes offers a new level of living in St. Albert and is the City’s first beach community.
